Voting Optional

As a new writer to this site, many of you are probably wondering, “who is this guy?”  Well, I’m here to answer those questions for you.  I am going to throw in some bullet points for the most part, to appease those of you who like to skip around. 

• I consider myself conservative, mainly based on moral obligation
• Many of those issues which would label me as such, i consider irrelevant, for my issue is that this country should stay on the values it was founded on.  This generally means my views on social issues are conservative.
• I do like change, but such things need to be fully analyzed before we jump on the giddy bandwagon that so many young people can get on. 
• I’ll be clear cut: my choice out of all the candidates since early on has been Mike Huckabee, and he would still be my choice if it was possible for him to get the nomination.  If I get my way, he will be John McCain’s running mate. 
• Healthcare is a huge, personal issue for me, because myself and my family have health issues that would not be covered by universal healthcare, and need constant, specialized medication and care. 
• I consider things like abortion, gay marriage, etc., to be moral issues.  Moral issues need to be based on true morals, not ‘need for change’, etc. 
• A candidate’s history and past really is a big issue for me, because things like that can stay with someone, both socially and in their own life.
